A question about Carter's Clothing...?

My older daughter would wear 6 month carter clothes when she was 3 months, so very hard to judge by month sizing alone. s I believe the 3 month size is from like 8 .

Carter's had a size chart online with the corresponding weights and what size that was. Archived discussions are usually a bit older and not as active as other community content. My girls are petite and do not follow the age range for sizes, but their weights are more accurate to guesstimate for me. There's one here and the prices are so good it's tempting to buy clothes in bigger sizes for the future, but like I said you don't really know if it'll fit in the right season you bought it for until he's actually that big lol.

First of all, Carter’s is the only brand that doesn’t “skip” a size. Every other brand appears to jump at some point. Carters, however, has both a 24 Month and 2T size — and they are different.

DS was 8lbs 3oz and inches and he wore a lot of Carter's newborn stuff for almost a month. He still mostly wears month pants (cotton) and he's lbs and 26 inches. It varies by outfit and how your baby is built. I go by length more than weight for clothes.

Carter's had a size chart online with the corresponding weights and what size that was. That is a more accurate way to gauge what your little one will be wearing. They grow at all different rates. We haven't bought anything really seasonable because who knows what size she will be! You really won't know too far ahead. Your baby could be a fat baby in a few months or be thin and long. My son that just turned 1 can still wear some of his 6 month sized clothes but can also fit 24 month stuff!

The new baby is 5 weeks and she's rather thin right now so I'm just buying if I see something I like that she can wear now. They grow fast and at different measures! I totally agree with all the other pp My huge son is 7 weeks, but is definitely starting to get a little big for some of the 3 month clothing. He just went through a major like major growth spurt, and some of the clothes that we have he was really only able to wear one time! You really have to judge what fits your baby at that exact time.

I definitely wouldn't be buying any fall or winter clothes right now I received as a gift a lot of the 3 months clothing. So I realized I have too many of that size but instead of getting all other sizes I will just go with the store credit. Because being the summer I know she will just wear onesies and stuff and I don't take her out often enough for her to need so many of that size, but I was wondering generally what size she might be in the fall. Meaning what does 3 months mean.

If it meant then it would mostly be summer clothes. What is the next size up. You say he is outgrowing the 3 months clothing. At Carter's the next size up is the 6 months.

It was confusing bc at children's place the next size up is the And at Carter's it's 6 months. Yeah I was worried about getting the next size up which is the 6 months and worried she won't be able to fit in them until January when she is in fact 6 months.

I guess I was seeing what size she would be around in the fall. I was wondering the SAME thing! My son is 9 months but still fits in some 6 month pants, mostly is in 9 months but also is in 12 so I am going nuts trying to keep it all organized and separated for when I pack it away.

Thank you, this really helps me a TON! October 14th, at Thank you for this! I always try to buy things on sale, and trying to guesstimate the size is the most challenging part. I have found carters clothing to be a bit on the smaller side for my daughter but she was a large baby a birth 10lbs DD almost 1 year old!!!

Lorelei Marie is Two Years Old!!! For my son, I would say they fit on the smaller side. He was a big healthy baby at birth and has been bigger than others born within a day or two of him, and at 3 months now he is in month clothes depending on the brand.

The only thing I can say is buy big. Happy as a clam! Related Questions Do carter clothes fit big? Question about Carters clothes sizes? Who sells Carter's clothing for infants? Answer Questions What do I do if my 3 month old screams when I put him down? Poopin' up babies ey?
