I have used your patterns to make items for angel babies at my local surrounding hospitals. I am anonymous in my donations, but I do add a little note saying the measurements and made with love.
Am I suppose to add on the paper Pattern by mama that makes? If so, what exactly do you want me to write on the note? I love making these things for these sweet angle babies and I never could come up with a pattern by myself.
So Thank you for your talent in doing so. I'm just not sure how I'm to credit your hard work on my donations, please let me know. Hi there, Im glad you like the patterns, its always nice to hear from people that use them often. As for crediting, if you want to include something along the lines if "Patterns sourced from Mamma That Makes" that is fine, or just a link to the blog is also fine, but honestly I am not overly fussed if people do or do not state it when they are making donations to hospitals, it is entirely up to you.
I only really hope for credit like that when people are sharing things online, pics on Facebook or on their own blogs ect as it means other people can find my page and may decide to help the cause as well. After all, a lot of people don't even know there is a need for such small items. I will be busy for weeks. But I need to get painting for my shows. Oh well, first things first.
I will put a little label on all I make as to where I got the pattern. I am a firm believer of giving credit where credit is due. Thanks for all your hard work. We make these items for the babies in different hospitals and organizations. Who ever is in need.
Thank you for putting your patterns on the web they are all beautiful. I think the cribs are a wonderful idea. I think your patterns are beautiful and you cater for all. Thank you so much. Thank you so much for sharing these patterns with us. They are well used by myself. I crochet, and knit for angel babies and preemies. It is hard to get sets of patterns and I am no good at sizing myself So its great how you have organized things in size, makes it so much easier for me to get it right.
You are a blessing to so many, both big the crocheters and little our precious babies Thank you. Thank you so much for sharing your patterns with us on the world wide web: Our fourth baby was born early at 35 weeks and spent a bit of time in the NICU.
One thing that helped me feel "normal" was putting her in too large!! After talking with the nurses who told me they take donations! I am working on a donation of special hats to donate to the NICU where Rose spent her first week of life to hopefully bring some cheer to other families. What beautiful patterns, and it's so generous of you to share them. Do you have patterns for knitters, I'd love to help, I'm just learning how to crocher x.
I just stumbled across your wonderful patterns and am so thrilled that I have found this!! I do photography at our local hospital for the babies born and didn't realize the absolute need for things in this size until I started working there. After doing 2 bereavement photo shoots in a short time I saw that there really isn't anything beautiful for these precious angels.
I have since started crocheting many things in many sizes to donate to our hospitals. I thank you so very much for the patterns and am glad to be able to donate to such a wonderful cause! Yesterday I delivered a 16week stillborn child I'm so grateful that I went online today to find some crocheted patterns so that I can make some and give them to the hospital for other families that will unfortunately have to suffer the same fate as me.
Your's was the first site I found. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!!!! Now that I have found this site, I am going to start making these outfits and give them to the labor and delivery unit that worked on for all those years. Thanks to "Momma that makes" for all the precious patterns. This comment has been removed by a blog administrator. Thanks you so much for your great blog and all of the useful preemie patterns - a real treasure trove for those in need of these!!
I've used your blog for several different patterns, but this section is my favorite. Three years ago I delivered a tiny stillborn at 20 weeks. I've since seen the need for this type of stuff and thrown my heart and would into starting a not for profit call Angel Blankets. I mainly distribute blankets, but do occasionally do hats and gowns for my local hospitals.
I'll be referring my volunteers here for patterns. I just finished two Wendy Dresses, one in pink and one in yellow. They are so sweet. I would like to find a suitable bonnet made of thread and the correct size to go with the dress. Also, I made some of the boy baby items and wanted a boy cap. I developed this tiny visor cap, and I want to pass it on to you and your readers. Myshelle, you may make one and put it on your site.
