Boat shoes or camp mocs with a dark red sole also work well. What do you usually go with? Grey can go with virtually anything. Grey works with blacks which generally only matches with black as well as every other color. What are the main factors to consider when deciding between wearing navy chinos vs dark jeans with an outfit?
First thing that comes to mind is one of the promo shots for Outlier's Nyco Slim Chinos. Is that what you were referring to? I personally think on the spectrum of clothes chinos without a crease are only slightly more dressy. Another question to go onto this one would be what brand you guys recommend for the OP, and by extension for me.
I was looking at Dockers D1s and told to look at Dockers Alphas, but they don't have navy. I want a price range of 40 bucks or less if possible. I'd recommend checking today and seeing if you can get in on it. Another question I had was how to know what style to get. There's so many different kinds of slim fit chinos on J. Crew that I don't know what I'm doing and just close the tab. That's why I liked the Dockers. I bought Cheap Monday's Chino online before, and it couldn't fit me.

In this case, I recommend a beautiful indigo blue jacket another classic pairing with khaki. An army green chino begs to be paired with a beautiful brown boot. Sure, not every man is cut out for the military, but military looks work on almost any guy. Paying homage to the origins of the chino are a nice touch.
The twill weave, similar to denim, along that certain shade of grey gives off heavy denim vibes from afar. As evident in the photo of Mr. Wear it in any situation that might make you reach for your jeans. In this case, that means a black leather jacket, clean henley and a trusty pair of red Chucks.
For those that find themselves in suits often or just prefer it that way , the dark navy chino will be your best friend. But if you want to give off a serious vibe over a relaxed one, flip it.

Sure, you’ll often find men sporting the khaki chino and navy blazer combo come Spring. But if you want to give off a serious vibe over a relaxed one, flip it. This is a good opportunity to mix colors. Alpha Khakis are, in my opinion, both the best fitting and best bang for the buck. I tried on everything – LEC slim fit chinos, J Crew USF, Rugby Vintage Chino University Pant, Dockers D1, Dockers D0 – and the Alpha Khakis dominated.
